Wish I'd waited to buy this deal while making my patio table, but this is a great jig. I figured it was simpler, cheaper and faster to buy than build myself with limited time. I've been buying Powertec stuff for years from Amazon, and it's always been solid products with no defects.
Yes, there's many ways to taper stock. But jigs are for repeatability and reliability. Once you have one, you can't imagine not having it.
