Musician's Friend and Guitar Center have brought back the $399 price for the Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro IV in Gold. Wine red, ebony black, and pacific blue are $409. All include free shipping and 8% Musician's Friend rewards for those bought from MF. Many GC stores have local inventory for immediate pickup and easier returns.
Very nice guitars with matte "worn" finishes (not very worn to me; just matte). They all look really good. Samples I've seen all have good fretwork and playability. A couple of them have had some tool marks, especially at the waist. That might add to the vibe, or not, for you.
The specs do not include it, but the ones I've seen all have Grover tuners.
